Teachers & Childcare Givers
Attend one of our professiona\l workshops to learn how to promote your students’ emotional competence and self-regulation. During the three-day workshop, you will learn the foundational role of emotional competence and self-regulation as building blocks to emotional intelligence, their link to long-term academic and interpersonal success, and how to promote these critical competencies in young children, aged three months to six years.
Given that children develop in the context of a relationship, teacher’s own emotionality will be addressed, as it relates to the development of these essential foundational skills and to your role as a socializer in children’s growth, development and learning.
“This approach has helped me better understand how to promote children’s emotional knowledge and guide them through the process of regulating their emotions and themselves. Through this training, I’ve been able to improve as a teacher by also becoming more attuned to how my own emotions impact my interactions with students. I highly recommend this training.”
In our workshop, you will become familiar with the emotional, cognitive and social early learning methods used in the evidence-based begin to ECSEL® approach, as well as gain knowledge of our curriculum and the principles behind it. Given that children develop in the context of a relationship, your own emotionality will be addressed, as it relates to the development of these essential skills and your role as socializer in children’s growth, development and learning.
Our evidence-based approach has been shown to result in quantifiable improvements in children in areas involving attachment, relationships, initiative, motivation, empathy, and self-regulation.
